Book Today
To provide our customers with the best experience, we now require appointments to be booked for all services. Click here for a complete list of services we provide.
NOTE: Your scheduled appointment is for instrument drop-off and discussion, only. Actual work will commence after you have approved our formal estimate emailed to you within two business days of your visit. All appointments (apart from pick-up services to collect your instrument) will require an $80 deposit which will be credited to your final invoice.
We do not provide ‘on-the-spot’ services. All Instrument services are completed in the order they are brought into the shop. Turnaround time is generally one-week, maximum.
CAN I JUST DROP IN ANY TIME?
For the best experience, it’s always best to book an appointment. As I’m running a busy shop as well as teaching, often I’m in the middle of running machinery, tools, or finishing guitars with spray equipment in the spray booth.
DO YOU CHARGE A FEE FOR A CONSULT OR TO ASK QUESTIONS?
‘Shop-talk’ is always free and I welcome you to email me any general questions you may have. Please note, I do not provide estimates ‘sight unseen’ as there are too many variables that can affect price.
General assessments and quotations incur an $80 charge for bench time with the cost being absorbed in the final bill if you decide to proceed with the service estimate.
WHAT IF I'M JUST PICKING UP A GUITAR? CAN I JUST SWING BY?
Again, it’s always best to book a quick time-slot so I can ensure I’m ready with your instrument, have the paperwork ready and can provide you with the best experience. Just choose the ‘Pick Up’ option for the appointments listed above.
I'M A WORKING MUSICIAN AND NEED IT 'YESTERDAY'! CAN YOU DO THAT?
While I do appreciate that everyone’s instrument is important to them, I do give priority seating to working musicians whose livelihoods depend on their tools being in peak shape. I will always do my best to accommodate both local and touring musicians and put their instruments at the top of my list.
