VINTAGE GUITAR RESTORATIONS & REPAIRS
As a vintage instrument restorer, I handle everything from basic setups to major structural overhauls. I meticulously inspect instruments in my shop, repair or reattach compromised braces, and strive to seamlessly mend cracks. Headstock reconstruction and bridge re-attachment are common jobs in my shop. Beyond functionality, I restore faded finishes and intricate inlays, preserving the guitar's history. My goal is to revive my customers' instruments, ensuring they play and look their best, respecting their unique character and heritage. For me, it's about bringing these pieces of history back to life.
BREATHE NEW LIFE INTO AN OLD LOVE.
Generally, I want to maintain your vintage instrument’s lustre and patina, as I consider those to be ‘beauty marks’ or ‘laugh-lines’. Square one is to get your vintage guitar, bass, banjo or other stringed instrument back to true playability by fixing those structural deficiencies and address cosmetic blemishes. Every restoration begins with a thorough written assessment and cost estimate so we can determine the best approach to keep you and your instrument happy for decades to come.
